I’m Omesha
Since I was a child, I have always been excited by creating and building things. My first truly successful project was born out of my desire to have a BMX bicycle when I was 14, which we couldn’t afford. Instead of accepting defeat, I went to the scrap yard and salvaged all the parts to build my own from scratch.
However I was a roofer off and on for years and wanted to become a carpenter, my career took a different turn when I decided to become a drummer. I studied drums, played in bands, symphony orchestras, and was a drum teacher for the last 30 years.
12 years ago my family out grew our three bedroom apartment. With four growing kids we needed a new solution. I then spent the next year helping in the construction of our house. I built our garage from the ground up, installed all of the wood flooring, kitchen, plumbing, electric, doors as well as many other projects.
Originally born in Germany, I was fortunate to meet my now wife in 2019 while on a trip to the US. We lived in Germany together for two years and spent much of that time fixing and remodeling the apartment we lived in. She and I decided to return to the US in 2021.
After living in Northern Idaho for two years where I started my Handyman business we moved back to Orcas where my wife lived before, where we married and where we have lots of friends. We both love the nature of this beautiful island and I now offer my services to the great people of Orcas Island and help where it is needed.
